  • Schedule- Monday to Friday from 5 am

Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Ottawa, as the Tail Gate Driver :


 

 

  • Arrive at work well-rested, mentally and physically prepared to perform daily tasks.
  • Carry out inspection tours before and after transport in accordance with the detailed inspection sheet.
  • Ensure that the truck and trailers used are in good condition.
  • Report any equipment defects immediately that could affect the safe operation of the vehicle.
  • Report any damage to the vehicle, its contents or the property of others caused by an accident in which the vehicle is involved.
  • As a company representative, it is important to always present a well-groomed appearance and be courteous to customers.
  • Ensure that all transported loads are loaded in a safe and secure manner.
  • Complete all work-related documents, including routes, work orders, weighing tickets, mileage log, and logbook

  • Pick up materials from pallets or replace containers of paper or other recycled materials.
  • Once the trailer is loaded, ensure that the load is properly secured and delivered to the factory according to the dispatcher's instructions.
  • Unloading and reloading for the next transport.
  • Drive the forklift to stack bales and pallets as required.
  • Valid Class 1/ AZ License
