At our Cascades in North York, ON you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Containerboard Packaging division of our team as the Prepress – MAC Operator:

Responsibilities:

• Pre-flight and review supplied files for production readiness
• Design and reformat graphic files to print specifications and press requirements
• Perform trapping, prepress adjustments, and image manipulation
• Handle various duties within the Film department
• Collaborate closely with the Production Supervisor and team members
   

Business Objectives Alignment:

• Design packaging considering manufacturing constraints
• Analyze and understand client requirements
• Manage and document activities and projects
• Provide technical support and optimize designs

Education and Experience:

• College diploma or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design
• Experience with pre-press requirements for flexo plate making
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite on MAC, with PC knowledge
• Knowledge of Esko software is advantageous
• Experience in the corrugated industry and flexographic printing is a plus
• Ability to communicate in French considered an asset
