At our facility in Mississauga you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Specialty Product Group division of our team as the Reliability Lead :

  

  • Recommend and expedite system solutions, troubleshooting and modifications to equipment to optimize operations
  • Team up with line departments to advise on efficiency measures to limit production downtime
  • Consult on preventative maintenance plans for equipment including, extruders, printing presses, bag machines, folders, core cutters, etc.
  • Create action plans with line supervisors and operators, prioritize and follow up on defect logs and work order requests to ensure timely completion
  • Develop and train technicians to analyze failures, determine root causes and eliminate recurring failures
  • Monitor breakdown trends and report status at weekly line department meetings
  • Promote and be responsible for applying sound occupational health and safety management and ensure compliance with Cascades safety standards
  • Support all departments with additional duties assigned by the plant manager

You too, put forward your strengths: 

  

  • College or University degree in related disciplines an asset
  • 3 - 5 years management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • A passion or drive for results with a willingness to ask questions and help others
  • Creative problem solving and able to "think outside the box" 
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to support multiple departments
  • Strong communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
