At our facility in Kingsey Falls or St-Bruno you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Speciality Product Group division of our team as the Multi-plant Health & Safety Coordinator :

 

  • Promote the OHS culture within the various Cascades business units in Canada and the USA
  • Collaborate, coach, and support the business units in the implementation of Cascades' strategic plan.
  • Participate in the harmonized implementation of OHS practices, processes, and tools within Cascades in accordance with the strategic plan.
  • Implement and maintain OHS IT tools (integrated OHS management, e-training platform and OHS document management).
  • Contribute to the definition of KPIs and communicate the results.
  • Actively contribute to achieving the group's business objectives and directly influence the creation of a healthy and safe working environment throughout the organization.
  • Monitor and share OHS best practices throughout the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with OHS standards, laws and regulations

You too, put forward your strengths: 

 

  • Degree in Occupational Health and safety (college or university)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in prevention and/or industrial ergonomics (a strong asset)
  • Knowledge of OHS legislation and regulations (Canadian and American)
  • Be rigorous, autonomous and a strong communicator
  • Demonstrate coaching skills to translate issues into concrete solutions
  • Strong sense of collaboration with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to help colleagues on your team achieve their objectives
  • Ability to support and advise business partners on OHS issues
  • Ability to work with various technological tools (Office Suite, ConformIT or other ERP software)
  • Master both French and English to communicate easily with our units and partners in Quebec, English-speaking provinces, and the United States
