• Salary range for Plant Manager  between $120,000 and $140,000 USD based on skills and experience 

At our facility in York PA you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the  Specialty Product Group division of our team as the Plant Manager :

• Ensure optimal execution of operations by achieving targets in terms of occupational health and safety, production capacity, standardization of operating costs and quality
• Ensure compliance with Cascades’ business processes in the plant, in accordance with established business rules and best practices
• Prepare and execute investment and asset maintenance plans and meet return on investment targets
• Engage and develop all your employees
• Establish performance standards (availability, efficiency, OEE) in collaboration with the General Manager
• Lead weekly meetings with your team to analyze KPIs, and discuss and launch required action plans
• Collaborate in the implementation of optimization projects specific to your unit
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure the sustainability of Lean Manufacturing best practices

• 2-5 years of experience in a leadership capacity 
• Strong focus on attention to detail and well organized
• Openness to jump in and assist where needed, both on and off the production floor 
• Experience getting buy-in and engagement within a team
• Leadership and a collaborative spirit that inspire and engage teams to achieve excellence
• Sound judgment to ensure follow-up and effective implementation of solutions in accordance with company priorities and to make appropriate decisions
• Strong persuasiveness to foster maximum buy-in in a difficult context
• The knowledge and experience to anticipate the impact of a decision on your unit and employees
• Strong communication skills, tact and diplomacy
• Excellent written and spoken English to support professional interactions
• Agility needed to work with various technological tools
• Knowledge of SAP software or other ERP (an asset)
