  • Base Salary Range for QUALITY COORDINATOR $59k - $89k
  • Profit Sharing based on profitability of the company offered as a % of base salary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on raw materials, in-process products and finished goods.
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, including inspection records, test results and quality reports.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, including customer complaints, and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems. (ISO, ONE Certification, BRC, HACCP, etc.)
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
  • Train and support employees on quality control processes and best practice.
  • Ensure that products meet customer specifications and quality expectations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering or related manufacturing related field.  Equivalent education and experience will be considered in lieu of a four-year degree.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in a quality role within a manufacturing industry, plastics manufacturing ideal. 
  • Extensive knowledge of continuous improvement and quality concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Agility needed to work with various technological tools
  • Knowledge of SAP software or other ERP (an asset)
