Sales Representative, Succession Team

Your challenge!

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be in a developmental role for a period of 12-18 months. The training and development will provide experience and exposure to the manufacturing and sales of corrugated packaging and includes rotations through production, design, graphic art, pricing, planning, quality and customer service. 

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will eventually assume a sales territory and be responsible to:

  • Implement the Sales strategy and ensure operational excellence by organizing all sales activities;
  • Ensure volume growth and account profitability;
  • Develop creative packaging solutions;
  • Maximize synergy and foster collaboration among departments and customers;
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients and promote Cascades’ product line;
  • Develop network in the business community and develop market intelligence;
  • Provide strong communication and follow up;
  • Comply with the ethical standards of Cascades and its business partners, and represent Cascades’ image.

Business Objectives Alignment

Ensure that the development and achievement of sale objectives are in keeping with the strategic plan for his business unit

Operational Excellence

Apply sales best practices that are in keeping with Cascades’ strategic orientations

Apply the pricing strategy

Document administrative activities related to his sales (e.g., contracts, promotions, forecasts)

Ensure that volume growth and/or account profitability are maintained (prospecting)

Organize all activities to maximize efficiency

Facilitate discussions between his department and the departments concerned

Promote and sell solutions and products that are adapted to the needs of clients and refer products from other groups as needed

Take the initiative to develop his or her skills

College diploma in Business Administration or Other relevant fields

Desired experience

  • Direct relative experience in Sales and/or post-secondary education in Business or Marketing
