  • Driving a straight truck to various customer locations to pick up their recyclables.
  • Come to work well rested, mentally and physically prepared for your day’s duties.
  • Pre-trip truck + circle checks as per itemized inspection sheet.
  • Immediately report any defects in equipment or workmanship, which may jeopardize the safe operation of your vehicle.
  • Report any and all damage to the vehicle, its contents, or properties of others due to an accident in which your equipment is involved.
  • As a representative of the company, it is important to always be neat in appearance and courteous to our clients.
  • Always have a keen sense of awareness while operating company equipment.
  • Be familiar with all H&S policies and procedures.

  • Ability to operate automatic equipment.
  • Must be open to working overtime hours.
  • Minimum 1 year straight truck experience (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years truck driving experience on the road.
  • Valid class 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement. No prohibitions or suspensions. Clean drivers abstract.
  • Exposure to outside weather conditions when putting material in the hopper at outside locations.
