At our facility in Vaudreuil, you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Containerboard Packaging Group as the Plan Manager:

As Plant Manager, your goal is to support your business unit in a positive and friendly atmosphere! To do this, you'll have to

  • Develop and implement a business strategy for your unit, in line with your business unit's vision;
  • Demand and create a healthy and safe work environment for all employees in your unit, and promote sound health management by establishing OHS priorities and ensuring follow-up;
  • Establish and monitor OHS priorities in line with corporate objectives;
  • Maximize operational efficiency in his/her unit and ensure value for money;
  • Ensure the implementation of standardized best practices in all areas of his unit's activities;
  • Establish performance standards (availability, efficiency, FIT) in collaboration with the General Manager;
  • Lead weekly team meetings to analyze KPIs, discuss and launch required action plans;
  • Help implement optimization projects.

You too, put forward your strengths: 

 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, production management or other relevant training;
  • 10 to 15 years' experience in management and manufacturing;
  • Ability to guide and coach team members;
  • Have the leadership and collaborative spirit to inspire and mobilize teams to achieve excellence;
  • The ability to understand customers' needs, issues and interests to develop solutions that enhance their experience;
  • Possess the discernment to ensure effective follow-up and implementation of solutions, taking into account company priorities and appropriate decision-making; 
  • Demonstrate the ability to position oneself convincingly in an unpopular context and generate maximum support;
  • Excellent communication skills, tact and political acumen; 
  • Ability to build and sustain a customer-focused culture based on a human approach; 
  • Be agile with various technological tools and familiar with SAP or other ERP software (an asset). 
  • Fluency in both French and English, to communicate easily with our units and partners in Quebec, the English-speaking provinces and the United States.
