Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources of Cascades SPG Group the Regional Human Resources Manager works closely with the multidisciplinary team of his/her business sector to ensure the operationalization of the businesses’ strategic plan with a skilled and engaged workforce.

As a business partner, the Regional Human Resources Manager is an active member of the management committee of his/her business sector and contributes to the prioritization of human resources activities to support the strategic plan.

Business Objectives Alignment
Contribute to the implementation of Human Resources operational strategies in his/her region
Help develop his/her group’s strategic plan and advise its regional senior management as a Human Resources and management specialist
Operational Excellence
Collaborate with and support corporate managers in implementing strategies
Actively involve him/herself in implementing and improving Human Resources processes
Participate in identifying the Human Resources needs of his/her units and propose and implement priorities for action
Implement Human Resources management processes and support managers
Support organizational transformation
Human Resources
Support the engagement of his/her units’ staff based on Cascades’ values and business strategy
Support the talent development and succession strategy
Health & Safety
Promote sound occupational health and safety management
Support the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment for all his/her group’s employees
Corporate Responsibility and Governance
Ensure the reliability and completeness of relevant information
Foster and promote Cascades’ ethical behaviors, culture and values

Bachelor's degree en Human resources
Desired experience

More than ten years of experience in an HR role or a related management position
Experience working in the manufacturing sector and knowledge of business processes an asset

Excellent command of English and spoken and written French an asset
Excellent knowledge of Office 365 and its tools

Frequent trips to various Cascades Recovery+ business units are expected
