Job Description


You will be reporting to the Shift Lead. As the Assistant Printing Press Operator you will be responsible for assisting with, set-up, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations. The work requires you to be on a rotational & continental shift which rotates through evenings and weekends with a starting wage of $23.13/hour + shift premiums (Sundays are paid time and a half) + comprehensive benefit package (details down below) paid weekly.

Valid Social Insurance Number, Willingness to conduct a criminal background check, and Safety Shoes

Job Responsibilities


The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:


· Feed the machines and assist with setting-up various sections on machine accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques.

· Obtain order and verify stock specifications and condition.

· Monitor box quality and report any quality problems to the Operator.

· Complete necessary administrative duties and reports in an accurate and timely manner.

· Assist operators with job duties on machine.

· Turn in maintenance orders to shift lead for repairs.

· Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.

· Comply with all company policies and procedures, including conduct, Health & Safety and maintaining good housekeeping, as well as all government regulations.

· Additional duties related to or not related to this job classification as assigned by shift lead
