The Containerboard Packaging Group, a division of Cascades, is the largest containerboard producer in Canada, and is also a top converter of corrugated products in the country. The Group manufactures a wide range of products made from recycled fibres for its North American customers in the food, beverage and consumer products sectors, among many others. The Division, which employs close to 3,400 people, owns six containerboard mills and nineteen corrugated products plants in Canada and the United States.

Your challenge!

Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and sales strategy for an assigned group of products/services to meet sales or market share targets. Monitor, analyse and evaluate market trends, customer behaviors, and competitor activity to identify market opportunies for the group of product/service. Adapt plans and product portfolio to improve sales performance. In charge of development of sales and advertising material. Coach less experienced team members and help them resolve problems.

Job Responsibilities
  • Alignement des objectifs d’affaires : Contribuer au développement du plan stratégique marketing, assurer le succès de la mise en œuvre tout en restant informé sur les innovations et les opportunités du développement des gammes de produits;
  • Excellence opérationnelle : Mise en place des meilleures pratiques marketing et faire la gestion du catalogue de produits/services assigné;
  • Orientation client : Agir à titre d’expert des tendances et travailler en collaboration avec les ventes sur les clients des marchés stratégiques priorisés. Mise en place d’une nouvelle segmentation axée sur le client;
  • Contribuer à la croissance des marges et de la rentabilité du catalogue de produits et services;
  • Gestion du cycle de vie des produits et services;
  • Plan de lancement produit / innovation;
  • Mise en place d’un modèle de rentabilité et de tarification. Analyse des ventes de produits;
  • Création du calendrier marketing, collecte et analyse de données CRM, client / marketing commercial;
  • Fournir des outils marketing, présentation, formation aux équipes de ventes et de marketing;
  • Contenu marketing (création, marquage, agrégation, outils de ventes, analyse du marché;
  • Apporter une expertise sur les produits et services. Travailler sur l’amélioration des produits et services en lien avec les besoins des clients, de la compétition et des objectifs financiers (innovation tactique).
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, marketing concentration;
  • 10 years of experience in marketing;
  • B2B experience or in the consumer goods industry, an asset;
  • Experience in brand creation;
  • Experience in digital strategy an asset;
  • Perfectly bilingual (French/English);
  • Skills of analysis and synthesis;
  • Curiosity, autonomy and creativity;
  • Ability to move from conceptual to operational;
  • Team spirit and very good interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work with different technological supports : MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word);
  • Client-centred approach and excellent communication aptitude.
