Your challenge!
Reporting to the Senior Financial director, the Finance Director's mission is to support the management of financial activities and in the development of the group's strategic plan by coordinating the financial analysis and planning processes. With your expertise in finance and administration, you act as a liaison between Cascades' financial partners and support the business units’ management team in their margin and processes improvement initiatives. You thus support strategic decision-making by producing accurate and reliable information. Finally, you contribute to the implementation and maintenance of an effective control structure within the company in order to minimize the risk of errors, irregularities and fraud related to financial processes.

*** Please note that this position is based in St-Bruno de Montarville and requires 10% travel***.
With the help of your team, you will be responsible for the financial management of four Canadian production units:
- Interpret the relationship between financial results and operational performance
- Coordinate the planning cycle (#LookingForward)
- Management of operating costs and accuracy of standard costs
- Ensure the integrity of our business processes and internal controls
- Be an outstanding partner to the division's management team and the various members of the organization, contributing to the development and execution of strategy. (#supportdecision-making)
- Support your supervisor Vincent Blain in the implementation of productivity improvement initiatives (#maximizeprofitability)

10 years' experience in a related field and CPA designation

Knowledge of SAP

Strong analytical skills and rigor

Excellent knowledge of financial management best practices;

Excellent coaching, impact and influence skills, and leadership skills that encourage employee involvement;
