Customer Service Representative - 12 months

CASCADES CONTAINERBOARD PACKAGING

The Containerboard Packaging Group, a division of Cascades, is the largest containerboard producer in Canada, and is also a top converter of corrugated products in the country. The Group manufactures a wide range of products made from recycled fibres for its North American customers in the food, beverage and consumer products sectors, among many others. The Division, which employs close to 3,400 people, owns six containerboard mills and nineteen corrugated products plants in Canada and the United States.

The Challenge!

 

Under the supervision of the manager of the Customer Service Department and part of Supply Chain Department, the incumbent will: 

 

  • Ensure an exceptional customer service and be the link between business partners (customers, sales, demand management, planning, production and shipping) and be a good collaborator with different business partners, customers, suppliers and different internal teams;  
  • Placing customers orders in the system (SAP): 
  • Coordinate inventory, delivery dates and other specific requirements related to the order; 
  • Ensure ongoing orders follow-up with help of reports and platforms in order to be proactive with clients; 
  • Maintain customers file up to date according to specifications; 
  • Answer customers dissactisfactions and escalate problems situations if needed; 
  • Validate pricing accuracy. 

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management or a minimum of 5 years of experience in customers accounts management; 
  • Customer-oriented and rigorous; 
  • Team Spirit and good communication skills 
  • Manage multiple files at once while prioritizing in an optimal manner; 
  • Ability to adapt and good resistance to pressure; 
  • Experience with manufacturer system (ERP), more specifically SAP (an asset);
  • Technical knowledge of the pulp and paper industry and/or of the packaging (an asset); 
  • Knowledge of transport and storage logistic (an asset); 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel intermediate to advanced);
  • Bilingual (French/English).
