The Human Resources Team of the Containerboard Division - Head Office is currently looking for an HR Advisor to join its team!

Reporting to the Senior HR Director, the incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to, providing customer service/support related to sound human resources management and contributing to the achievement of the unit's objectives by recruiting a competent and motivated workforce.

Responsibility of the position 

  • Provide outstanding consulting services to employees;
  • Accompany and advise managers in the analysis of their needs and the search for solutions.
  • Demonstrate great versatility and be able to manage several priority files at the same time;
  • Measure yourself with HR-related performance indicators using an HR dashboard (Power BI) and establish priority actions;
  • Plan and organize (workforce needs, including succession, within the capital and operating budgets);
  • Participate in the recruitment process from A to Z (from the interview to the reception and integration of the employee);
  • Be committed to employee development and enjoy providing training;
  • Use your creativity and talent to continuously improve processes and update HR policies;
  • Propose a multitude of initiatives related to employee engagement and enjoy participating in various head office committees (OHS committee, Christmas party organizing committee, etc.).
     

Your background and strengths

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial relations or human resources management;
  • 3 to 5 years experience as an HR consultant or have held HR positions with increasing responsibilities; 
  • Be a member of the CHRP order (an asset);
  • Your French is impeccable and your English is advanced in a professional context;
  • Your professionalism is matched only by your great personality;
  • You have a strong sense of creativity and curiosity about the HR issues of the future;
  • You are willing to be flexible and put in the necessary hours;
  • Your skills lead your actions to success;
  • You have good communication skills; 
  • You have the judgment to make the right decisions.
