Salary - $19.38 p/h

24/7 facility:  will need to have availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Production Operators work a rotating shift, four 12-hour shifts then four days off switching between days and nights.
  • Responsible for the daily operations of assigned converting equipment inclusive of changes overs
  • Complete required training and knowledge based on the Training Matrix
  • Responsible for the DMS (Daily Management Systems) elements (AS400, Plant Apps, SAP, MES etc.) throughout the shift
  • Participate actively in the daily shift meetings
  • Lead by example (Safety, Quality, Attendance, Paperwork, Company policies & General Behavior)
  • Produce high quality product and complete hourly quality checks
  • Be an active member in daily problem-solving 

Job Responsibilities

Daily Rhythm & Schedule (DRS) meetings

  • Attend DRS (Daily Rhythm & Schedule) meeting
  • Gather list of issues that were encountered during the previous shift
  • Gather precise information about what was done to fix the resolved issues
  • Gather precise information about remaining issues that still need to be worked on and what was attempted to fix them and with whom


Health & Safety (H&S)

  • Performs daily H&S interaction with the shift team
  • Participate in risk assessments



  • Read and validate the current shift BOMs at the start of the shift
  • Plan the staging of raw materials on the line according to the BOM sequence
  • Read and update the operator's logbooks throughout the shift
  • Always handle Jumbo Rolls to minimize waste
  • Monitor the paper consumption to find ways to reduce and minimize paper loss
  • Be proficient at fixing paper consumption issues as they arise
  • Show initiative and be active in problem-solving
  • Execute Housekeeping tasks according to the plan set by the Line Lead
  • Execute Change-Over tasks according to the plan set by the Line Lead
  • Identify training opportunities based on the current issues and work with Line Lead to address them
  • Assist the Maintenance team with executing urgent repairs on the line as quickly as possible



  • Execute the hourly quality checks
  • Abide by all NSF requirements



  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; able to read and write legibly.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace, stable under pressure and organized, while staying within safety rules and regulations
  • Must have mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Must be able to operate various machinery and equipment
  • Must be able to walk/stand for majority of shift (10-12 hours)
  • Must be able to lift between 50-70 lbs
  • Works well with other team members, avoids conflict and is autonomous (Self-starter, takes initiative, etc.)
