  • Salary range for Roll Off Driver starting at $32.06 and after 3months $33.40
  • Schedule - Early 2:30pm to 10:30pm on 10hour shifts.

Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Surrey, as the Roll Off Driver :


 

  • Driving a Roll Off truck to various customer locations to pick up their recyclables.
  • Come to work well rested, mentally and physically prepared for your day’s duties.
  • Pre-trip truck + circle checks as per itemized inspection sheet.
  • Complete any repair orders for your truck to ensure that your truck is in a safe operational condition.
  • Immediately report any defects in equipment or workmanship, which may jeopardize the safe operation of your vehicle.
  • Report any and all damage to the vehicle, its contents, or properties of others due to an accident in which your equipment is involved.
  • As a representative of the company, it is important to always be neat in appearance and courteous to our clients.
  • Ensure that when arriving at a client’s site, you advise the client of your presence and ensure that the compactor equipment is shut down and locked out before switching containers.
  • Able to switch, install and or remove roll-off containers. Tarping and picking up partial/full roll-off container loads and transporting loads to the proper facilities, as instructed by dispatcher, to be dumped. 
  • Responsible to ensure that the clients’ site is cleaned of any spilled debris, which may have fallen out from the container during the tarping and switching procedures.
  • Ensure that all compactor equipment is properly hooked up prior to leaving the clients’ facility
  • Always have a keen sense of awareness while operating company equipment.
  • Be familiar with all H&S policies and procedures.

  • Abilitiy to operate automatic equipment.
  • Must be open to working overtime hours.
  • Minimum 1 year roll-off experience (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years truck driving experience on the road.
  • Valid class 1 driver’s license with air brake endorsement. No prohibitions or suspensions. Clean drivers abstract.
  • Exposure to outside weather conditions when putting material in the hopper at outside locations.
