- Salary range for Outside Sales Representative between $68,000 to $72,000 based on skills and experience
At our faciliies in the Greater Toronto area, you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Cascades Recovery + division of our team as the Outside Sales Representative . You will be responsible for for sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating the procurement of fiber materials, such as OCC (Old Corrugated Containers), SOP (Sorted Office Paper), and other recyclables.
- Actively seek and secure new suppliers of fiber materials such as OCC, SOP, and other recyclable materials.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of market trends, commodity prices, and supplier landscapes to optimize purchasing decisions.
- Conduct supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing, terms, and volume commitments.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers, ensuring consistent and reliable material flow.
- Continuously monitor global and regional fiber markets, ensuring alignment with business needs and market conditions.
- Work closely with the Account Management Team, Operations, and Logistics teams to align purchasing efforts with inventory needs and customer demand.
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and mitigating risk.
- Ensure all purchase agreements are documented and adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
