Your Role
As HR Technician, you’ll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential. Your scope includes:
- Support full-cycle recruitment activities including job postings, interview coordination, candidate communication, offer administration, and onboarding support
- Build strong relationships with employees through regular floor presence, employee interactions, and day-to-day support
- Respond to employee questions and concerns while ensuring issues are documented and escalated appropriately when required
- Coordinate employee engagement activities, crew meetings, recognition programs, community outreach initiatives, and workplace events
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, reports, and data accuracy within HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Support onboarding, training coordination, employee communications, and various HR projects
- Contribute ideas and initiatives that enhance the employee experience and support a positive workplace culture
What you bring
You're a natural fit for HR Technician if you have:
- A certificate, diploma, or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1-2 years of HR experience following a co-op, internship, or entry-level HR role, ideally within a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or industrial environment
- Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, or HR administration activities
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A friendly, approachable, confident, and service-oriented communication style
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and comfort learning new HR systems
- Availability to work 5 days a week On Site in Scarborough
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle, with flexibility to occasionally adjust work hours to support operational shifts
