• Salary range for Bilingual Dispatcher  between $55,000- $60,000 CAD based on skills and experience

At our facility in Scarborough you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Cascades Recovery + division of our team as the Bilingual Dispatcher :

• Dispatch work in the most efficient and cost-effective manner, utilizing available drivers and equipment.
• Modify routes as required while maintaining efficiency and customer centricity.
• Co-ordinate trailer shunting with plants to ensure seamless productivty.
• Inform plant(s) of any changes to inbound and outbound loads that may impact the workflow.
• Respond to emails and phone calls promptly and professionally at all times.
• Monitor route performance and production in real-time for all assigned drivers.
• Utilize various systems, such as Geotab and Power BI, to consistently achieve service level and efficiency targets through a continunous improvement approach. 
• Liase with Account Management and Customer Service to effectively communicate any service interruptions or site-level issues reported by drivers. 
• Review previous day’s route performance to determine areas of improvement and/or successes. 
• Inform Transportation Supervisor of driver and/or equipment problems (including trucks, trailers, and containers, off site equipment).

You too, put forward your strengths: 

• Preferably 3 years industry experience.
• Ability to communicate professionally over the radio, phone and email.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on organization
• Dependable attendance.
• Positive “Team” attitude. 
• Above average math skills an asset
• Self–motivated problem solver.
• At least 3 years experience with computers.  Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook as well as an aptitude for custom programming.
• Must be bilingual (English & French)
• Power BI experience is an asset.
• Geotab experience is an asset.
