At our facility in St-Bruno you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Cascades Recovery + division of our team as the Transport Manager :
The position requires frequent travelling to our other facilities or partners in Canada and occasionnally in United States.
- Monitor all transportation related functions and activities to ensure compliance with established laws, codes, rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Comply with all Employment and Health & Safety Policies and Procedures as required
- Responsible of drivers on all aspects of operations and personnel issues
- Recruitment of drivers in the different remote locations established by the QC supply chain group
- Training of drivers in their locations to make sure they are onboarded according to CR+’s internal compliance protocols
- Provide direction and support within all operating areas of the department (dispatch, compliance, maintenance)

You too, put forward your strengths:
- 3-5 years experience in a Supervisor or Managerial position
- CDL Holder class 1
- Previous experience in the recycling, waste or related industry is an asset
- Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, regulations, policies and procedures
- Proven success in development and implementation of improvements in transportation activities for cost savings, productivity improvements and/or growth
- Advanced knowledge of transport and dispatching operations
- Previous experience working within Transportation is an asset
- Route optimization/re-routing experience is an asset
- Master both French and English to communicate easily with our units and partners in Quebec, English-speaking provinces, and the United States
