At our facility in St-Bruno you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Cascades Recovery + division of our team as the Customer Service Representative (Procurement) :

 

  • Serves as the primary liaison between fiber buyers and the various departments to coordinate timely delivery of raw material requirements to the mills
  • Executes the supply plan in collaboration with buyers
  • Issues purchase order releases in accordance with departmental procedures and standards and ensure accurate tracking and follow ups
  • Monitors receipt of raw materials at the plants and carries out transactions related to quality issues, as needed
  • Ensures all internal procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, managing any necessary documentation for material transfers.
  • Responds to requests and inquiries from suppliers and Cascades partners in a timely, thorough and process-oriented manner to ensure the delivery of superior service without losing sight of the financial and operational consequences.
  • Collaborates with the inventory control team to maintain optimal inventory levels to service Cascades’ units.

You too, put forward your strengths: 

 

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years' relevant customer service experience, procurement or supply chain in the industrial sector
  • Proficient in the use of IT tools, including the Microsoft Office suite (Excel intermediate) and cieTrade and/or SAP software packages.
  • Customer-oriented approach and excellent communication skills
  • Collaborative spirit needed to work closely with all team members
  • High degree of autonomy and rigor in the execution of your work
  • Ability to react and adapt quickly and the agility to propose solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Master both French and English to communicate easily with our units and partners in Quebec, English-speaking provinces, and the United States
