The Containerboard Packaging Group, a division of Cascades, is the largest containerboard producer in Canada, and is also a top converter of corrugated products in the country. The Group manufactures a wide range of products made from recycled fibres for its North American customers in the food, beverage and consumer products sectors, among many others. The Division, which employs close to 3,400 people, owns six containerboard mills and nineteen corrugated products plants in Canada and the United States.

Your challenge!

We are seeking a highly motivated, professional, detail oriented and energetic individual to join our Customer Service Team! Our Customer Service Representatives work closely with our Sales Representatives, production and logistics teams to support our  business customers. In this role, you will learn all aspects of our containerboard business and be able to collaborate with various departments such as design, production, shipping, and transportation. If you seek growth and development, this position will lead to numerous opportunities within Cascades.  In this role you'll support customer accounts with order entry/monitoring/expediting as well as recommend procucts/solutions and providing cost quotes to existing customers when needed. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have a high sense of urgency, and be able to adapt to varying situations.

 

As a Customer Service Representative, you will act as the link between customers, Sales Representatives, and the Production Department.  Your primary goal is to provide high quality customer service. This position involves processing customer orders by coordinating all factors involved in order specifications and delivery dates. You will be responsible to ensure that orders are processed quickly and correctly.

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • Minimum 1 year customer service, account management or sales experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Data entry experience in support of a sales organization or order management preferred
