DAY SHIFT - 5am - 5 00pm with every other weekend off. Options for overtime if you wish!

Job Duties:
- Use equipment, manuals and drawings to troubleshoot, repair and perform established PM procedures including inspections, and calibration of equipment including but not limited to corrugator equipment.
- Read and understand electrical drawing such as schematics and ladder diagrams, wiring diagrams and installation and general arrangement diagrams.
- Install electrical and electronic equipment, components, and apparatus of industrial machinery and equipment in compliance with electrical code and in accordance with equipment.
- Trouble shoot and repair power distribution equipment and hardware components such as outlets, switches, lighting fixtures distribution wiring, disconnect switches, three phase and single phase, etc.
- Trouble shoot and repair basic electrical control circuits including AC/DC control voltage, operator interface components such as push buttons, selectors switches, indicator lights, switches, and encodes, hardware control components such as contactors, relay, solenoids rheostats, etc., combination and reversing motors, main drive, and auxiliary motor.
- Use laptop computer to load/download programs to programmable logic controllers and programmable drive units.
- Use test equipment such as oscilloscope and lap top computer to trouble shoot and repair electrical/electronic system and equipment such as operator interface, power controllers and relay logic, I/O devices, programmable controllers and microprocessors-based control systems, and solid-state drive modules.
Qualifications:
- Must have 5 years minimum E&I experience
- Electronic certification, certification on PLCs
- Programming PLCS (Asset)
- Skills and experience in basic electrical safety, basic industrial electricity principles and concepts, AC/DC motors and machinery, electrical trouble shooting, National Electrical Code, use of voltage tester, digital multi-meter, clamp-on ammeter.
