Your responsibilities

  • Overseeing multiple E&I projects including both capital improvements and mill modifications while proactively support with ongoing open issues
  • Manage projects through complete lifecycle of program (initiation, design, implementation and closure)
  • Responsible for bid specifications, review and vendor negotiation 
  • Participate in the development of process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams as well as electrical and automation drawings
  • Design, support, and evaluate automation and control systems to ensure efficient and safe facility operations
  • Provide direct support and guidance for programmable logic controllers (PLC), distributed process control systems (DCS), human machine interfaces (HMI), Historian data logging and reporting, and associated instrumentation

Your background and strengths

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar role   
  • Knowledge of 480, 2300, 4160 and 12kV power distribution and protective relaying
  • Practical knowledge in troubleshooting AC and DC motors, drives and starters
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred
