Technical Expert - Corrugator and Packaging

Cascades Containerboard Packaging Division wishes to add a corrugator and packaging technical expert to its team who will play an essential role in promoting best manufacturing practices and in improving the performance of our processes, equipment and production teams.

Job Responsibilities

The corrugator and packaging technical expert will have the following main responsibilities:

 

  • Act as a technical expert in the development of corrugated manufacturing techniques;
  • Be the reference person for the purchase and installation of equipment;
  • Collaborate with local teams to improve the performance of the different equipments;
  • Actively participate in problem solving;
  • Ensure the sharing of best practices;
  • Facilitate change management and act as a mentor.

 

Your background and strengths:

The corrugator and packaging technical expert must have the following qualifications:

 

  • Possess 10 years of experience in the corrugated or printing industry;
  • 10 years of experience in the corrugated or printing industry; Have held a production management or technical role;
  • Operational and mechanical knowledge;
  • Bilingual;
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork skills;
  • Demonstrate leadership and facilitation skills;
  • Be organized, structured and have good priority management;
  • Be available to travel to different plants in Quebec most of the time and sometimes in North America.
