We are looking to add a Millwright to our Mississauga plant. If are a licensed Millwright with 2-3 years of experience and have worked on some heavier equipment/pumps in previous roles we are looking for you. Job Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with production and equipment                     
  • Modify, repair or replace parts of machinery to maintain production capacity.                                                               
  • Inspect, lubricate machine parts and determine future maintenance requirements 
  • Perform preventative maintenance to equipment as required, including minor electrical repairs and welding 
  • Read and interpret drawings and schematics to determine spare parts requirements                                   
  • Perform changeover, setup and adjustments on production equipment          
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the departmental safety action plan     
  • Participate in major projects, installations and start-ups                                                                                               
  • Maintains a safe, clean work area and follows all safety procedures                                                                              
  • Ensure flexibility to respond to maintenance needs on off-hours                                       
  • Supervise outside contractors when on-site


  • Certified Industrial Millwright 433A 
  • 2 years of work experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Exceptional mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • experience working in mining sites, cement manufacturers, oil and rigging is an asset
  • Energetic and enthusiastic approach with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Knowledgeable of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and possesses a strong safety focus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and maintenance management software
  • Available and flexible to work in a fast-paced environment, be self-driven to meet or exceed targets and work a flexible schedule that includes planned, unplanned and on-call shifts
