  • Salary range for Business Development Manager: $100,000 - $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management/Business Development

  • Increase revenue from new accounts and secure new regional business.

  • Develop strategic sales plans and collaborate with distribution partners.

  • Maintain a robust pipeline via Cascades CRM and ensure customer satisfaction.

 

Account Planning and Management

  • Develop and manage regional account plans.

  • Build long-term relationships with key accounts and partners.

  • Identify growth opportunities through regular business reviews.

 

Contract and Pricing Management

  • Support customer pricing and contract negotiations.

  • Validate quotes and prices based on margin ranges.

 

Sales and Market Strategy

  • Pursue new business opportunities in the Northeast region.

  • Implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets.

  • Conduct market research and prepare presentations.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and identify cross-selling opportunities.

  • Network and promote the brand at industry events.

 

Reporting

  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and market conditions.

  • Use and update the CRM

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & STRENGTHS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Basic knowledge of supply chain principles.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.

  • Demonstrate products and solutions; actively participate in knowledge transfer.

  • Superior market and customer knowledge.

  • Strong understanding of the Northeast region market.
