Your challenge!

Being Regional Administrative Director at Cascades for the Specialty Products Group Division (GPS) means that you will oversee 4 plants, 1 joint venture with 3 distribution centres, which are mainly in the United States

Job Responsibilities

As Regional Administrative Director, you will be responsible for providing expert support to financial controllers in the various business units to which you are assigned. In addition, you will act as a coach and exercise mobilizing leadership with your teams. Finally, you will need to ensure the transmission and interpretation of the various two-way communications between the plants and the head office.

 

Business Objectives Alignment

Help develop the Group’s strategic plan with the region’s input

Serve as a financial specialist to help develop a strategic plan that addresses the needs of the region

Operational Excellence

Help develop and implement financial, sales, administrative and accounting management best practices in keeping with Cascades’ strategic directions

Help the units’ and region’s management teams improve business processes (including analyses and communication of internal and external financial information)

Support controllers in the region in their capacity as financial specialists

Participate in reengineering the region’s business processes

Human Resources

Participate in the implementation of the talent development and succession stratefy of the people under his responsibility (including training development and content distribution ) in cooperation with Human Resources

Bachelor's degree en Accounting

Desired experience

The candidate must have between 7 to 10 years of experience as a controller to meet the requirements of this position.

Technical competencies

Proven experience with the SAP system and the MS Office suite is required;


In addition, knowledge of IFRS standards is an asset.

 

Additional information

The position will require travel to the United States representing between 50% and 60% of his or her work week.
