Job Responsibilities

You will have responsibilities

Prepare action plans, risk analyzes, determine and design control circuits using concrete and effective solutions to secure various equipment;

Perform the parameterization and programming of the PLCs.

Manage the different stages of the projects;

Provide technical coordination of the various work teams during engineering, planning, implementation and installation;

Carry out communications with different customers and suppliers;

In addition to security projects, the selected person may also be called upon to participate in various engineering projects related to his area of ​​technical expertise.

Ensure compliance with standardized best practices (SLA, mandate acceptance, project management processes, etc.) in all his unit’s areas of activity

Bachelor's degree en Engineering

Desired experience

A minimum of two years of relevant industry experience.


Technical competencies

Have a good command of English and French both orally and in writing

Knowledge of machinery safety laws and standards, including CSA Z432, are assets;

Good computer skills (Autocad, Excel, Word, etc.);

Methodical spirit, dynamism, good judgment, spirit of innovation, resourcefulness, sense of initiative, availability;

Team spirit and possess good management skills as well as in decision-making;

Problem solving and customer orientation;

Apply occupational health and safety regulations;

Additional information

The person sought in this position must be flexible in terms of availability and mobility. In fact, in the performance of her duties, she will be required to travel regularly within the various units of the Cascades Group, both in Canada and the United States, for approximately 25% of the time.
