Job Description

Under the supervision of the Senior Lead Hand, the Molder will weigh product and communicate with the Senior Lead Hand and pulper operator to adjust pulp flow or dyers, they will also inspect the product for defects or any irregularities.  

Job Responsibilities

Observe charts and gauges, and turn valves to adjust flow, vacuum, and air control to molds.  
Operate drying sections to adjust heat to combat over or under drying.  
Change mold dies by hand using hand tools.
Effectively monitor production equipment.
Provide feedback to appropriate personnel regarding quality issues.
Learn entire process that includes pumps, valves, motors, vacuum, air pressure, speeds, flow, temperature, etc. 
Maintain necessary records and reports.  
Ensure all functions are accomplished safely and correctly by following the work instructions.
Support the Safe Quality Food Packaging system, as well as all other company policies and programs.
