Reporting to the Competency Management Director, the Senior Skills Development Advisor’s mission is to play a leading role in defining business partners’ training needs and proposing innovative andragogical solutions in complex and evolving learning contexts. You advise and influence Cascades' various stakeholders on best learning practices and suggest effective strategies to support learner development and the achievement of business objectives. You thus ensure a stimulating and enriching experience for all participants and create a learning climate conducive to success. In addition, you constantly renew the service offer and adapt it to your business partners’ changing needs. As a result, you contribute significantly to the development of the talents and key skills within the company that are necessary for its sustainability and its competitive edge.

Recommend innovative learning solutions that support the achievement of Cascades' strategic business objectives

Responsible

Understand the needs of business partners to be able to influence them and recommend innovative learning solutions.

Establish a training strategy taking into account business partners' needs and concerns.

Optimize the solutions aligned with business partners' needs and concerns.

Be able to readily adapt to new circumstances, in order to quickly recommend a new strategy and overcome any resistance.

Communicate skills based on best practices in adult learning

Validate and build on what has been learned to ensure that objectives are achieved, and suggest solutions.

Ensure that learners make progress by developing conditions for success: supporting learners, identifying learning difficulties, etc.

Improve your own training approach to support the development of innovative practices.

Experiences and strengths

Proficiency in adult learning and adult training and development concepts

Practical experience with a proven methodology

Intellectual curiosity that stimulates interest in Cascades' value chain

Strong communication skills, tact and diplomacy

Ability to support and advise business partners in analyzing their needs and finding solutions

Keen sense of collaboration required to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels of the organization

The extensive expertise required to propose and promote innovative solutions that meet Cascades' business needs to the various stakeholders

Insight to be able to choose the best solution based on analysis, experience and judgment

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills essential to guiding the choice of training strategies

Strong sense of responsibility

High level of adaptability and agility in order to quickly respond to the various stakeholders' needs

Proficiency in French and English that allows you to express yourself clearly and concisely

Description longue
