CASCADES TISSUE GROUP

The Tissue Group, a division of Cascades, is the second-largest tissue producer in Canada and the fifth-largest in North America. The Division manufactures, converts and markets a huge selection of paper products, such as hand towels, bathroom tissue, facial tissue, napkins, paper towels, wipers and dispensers for the North American away-from-home and consumer products markets. The Group has more than 2,200 employees and operates seven manufacturing plants, nine conversion plants and four plants with both manufacturing and conversion facilities.

Your challenge!

 

The Product Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Cascades PRO sales teams. The Product Specialist will lead learning and development activities related to talent development, job skills and competencies and new hires. He or she will execute live and virtual training platforms to maximize the effectiveness of sales representatives in selling value-added solutions and to increase the profitability and market penetration of Cascades Tissue Group. Key responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to: developing and implementing live/virtual training programs and initiatives; conducting needs assessments to build effective sales tools; using technology to design and launch training interventions; developing learning platforms for Cascades PRO sales teams; and facilitating courses and workshops.

 


Responsibilities :


- Implement a training program, integrate new representatives and train market specialists to help the sales team better sell value-added hygiene solutions, mainly captive dispensing systems and paper;
- Ongoing training and coaching with different teaching modes (online, in-person/practice and video modules);
- Establish a "specific way" to sell the Tandem line of dispensers for distributors/users, including the sales pitch compared to competitors' solutions;
- Support training for new product launches;
- Prepare new sales representatives by organizing orientation sessions on the sales process, developing individual coaching plans, providing resources and assistance, organizing orientation sessions with senior representatives;
- Identifies training and sales tool needs by traveling with sales representatives; observing customer meetings; reviewing sales reports; interviewing sales managers ;
- Improve training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques, making support readily available;
- Verify and report on the effectiveness of employee training during the integration period and continue throughout career advancement;
- Research and benchmark and evaluate new training programs and solutions for salespeople that would increase the overall effectiveness of the sales training program;
 - Aligns the organization with the use of CRM tools for maximum productivity.


Skills and Qualifications :


- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other related fields;
- Over 5 years of field sales and training experience in sales, adult education, facilitation/instruction in a corporate or sales training environment;
- Experience using a customer relationship management tool (e.g., Salesforce.com®);
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS);
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel); Adobe; Virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Web-Ex, Skype, Microsoft Teams);
- Must be available to travel up to 50% within North America.
