General Sales Manager*

Your challenge!

Reporting to the Vice-President, Sales, the General Sales Manager’s Eggs sector mission is to oversee regional plans and the development of business opportunities, to establish and approve the pricing of accounts under his or her responsibility to implement his or her group's sales strategies and objectives. You train, manage and coordinate your team's efforts in developing account plans and programs based on business opportunities, customer needs and market conditions in order to meet and exceed sales and revenue objectives in targeted regions. You also work closely with the Marketing function to gain a solid understanding of business lines (growth, trends, customers, competitive positioning) and to facilitate the ranking of regional accounts. Finally, through relationship selling and by providing guidance on operating plans and tactics, you help optimize sales growth and profitability and contribute to the achievement of the territory's business strategy.

Contribute to the preliminary pricing, profitability growth and pricing approval for accounts under your responsibility

Oversee activities related to the creation and negotiation of contracts for regional accounts

Protect and grow revenue from the regions for which you are responsible

Support the establishment of account plans and oversee the account planning process

Responsible

Ranking customers at the BU level for all regional accounts and consolidating information with V.-P., Sales

Consolidate all information with the Vice-President, Sales to support the strategy, profitability and growth associated with the territory

Ability to leverage knowledge and expertise within the regional team, the sales unit and other departments within Cascades

Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a strong regional sales team
