CASCADES CONTAINERBOARD PACKAGING

The Containerboard Packaging Group, a division of Cascades, is the largest containerboard producer in Canada, and is also a top converter of corrugated products in the country. The Group manufactures a wide range of products made from recycled fibres for its North American customers in the food, beverage and consumer products sectors, among many others. The Division, which employs close to 3,400 people, owns six containerboard mills and nineteen corrugated products plants in Canada and the United States.

Your challenge!

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our Customer Service Team! Our Customer Service Representatives work closely with our Sales Representatives and business customers. This individual will sit onsite with one of our customers located in Long Island, NY to directly support their needs. You will learn all aspects of our containerboard business and collaborate with various departments such as design, production, shipping, and transportation. If you seek growth and development, this position will lead to numerous opportunities within Cascades.  

 

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have a high sense of urgency, and be able to adapt to varying situations.

Job Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you will act as the link between customers, Sales Representatives, and the Production Department and your main goal is to provide high quality customer service. This position involves processing customer orders by coordinating all factors involved in order specifications and delivery dates. You will be responsible to ensure that orders are processed quickly and correctly. 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • One to three years of prior customer service/account management/sales experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
