At our facility in Pryor you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Tissue Group, division of our team as the Continuous Improvement Manager :

 

 

  • Own continuous improvement (CI) pillar within the plant.

  • Support and track continuous improvement projects to improve processes.

  • Conduct loss analysis to identify areas of improvement.

  • Prioritize continuous improvement projects, support the action plan, and follow up.

  • Share best practices with CI Leads across other sites and leverage other site learnings at their site.

  • Ensure that standards are adhered to across systems and monitor the health of the lean production system. Provide input on overall pillar implementation plans.

  • Coach site leadership team to increase maturity of their respective pillars.

  • Help coach other Line Centric Team (LCT) members on CI initiatives and processes.

  • Manage site cost savings program & follow up and the sustainability development program.

  • Support the onboarding of new hire on Lean Production System (LPS).

  • Improve problem solving culture and coaching.

  • Define CAPEX project list and manage projects.

You too, put forward your strengths: 

 

 

  • Must have an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field and at least five (5) years of management work experience.

  • Of the required experience, must have one (1) year of experience acquired in the pulp and paper manufacturing industry in all of the following:

    • Experience in coaching others;

    • Experience in manufacturing operations, maintenance and quality;

    • Experience with Lean Production System principles and methodologies; and,

    • Experience with Capital Expenditures (CAPEX).

  • Position will require a combination of national and international travel. The position requires that the employee travel at a frequency of once every three (3) months on average, for a duration of two (2) to five (5) days at a time. The nature of the various travel will be for training purposes and/or to attend business meetings. Travel required 10% or less.
