• Base salary range for the Senior Industrial Designer is $61,292 to $91,938 CAD / year
     

At our facility in Guelph, ON you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Containerboard Packaging division of our team as the Senior Industrial Designer:

• Lead the design process from conceptualization to production, ensuring high-quality design projects that meet customer needs and manufacturing constraints
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements, communicate timelines, and manage expectations
• Utilize technical design software to optimize designs and propose innovative solutions
• Support the Design Team by providing technical expertise, mentoring junior designers, and contributing to team objectives
• Research and recommend new manufacturing processes, materials, and finishes to enhance product quality and efficiency

As well as your experiences:

• Qualifications: Possess 5 or more years of experience in Industrial Design, particularly in Structural Packaging. Related fields with relevant experience will also be considered. A Structural Packaging Design & Management Certificate is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in ArtiosCAD or AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office suite is required. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate technological competence in a hybrid work environment.
• Skills and Traits: Candidates should exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, organizational rigor, and experience in influential roles. A strong coaching mindset is essential.
